Alpine Global Dynamic Dividend Fund (Public, NYSE:AGD) Hits Multiple Tops
Shares of Alpine Global Dynamic Dividend Fund (Public, NYSE:AGD) are
having a hard time breaking resistance at the $10 level. In fact, multiple tops have been hit in the last couple of months.
The Alpine Global Dynamic Dividend Fund’s primary investment objective is high current dividend income, of which more than 50% qualifies for reduced Federal income tax rates.
The Fund also focuses on long-term growth of capital as its secondary investment objective.
The cool thing about AGD is that they pay their dividends on a monthly basis as opposed to quarterly. The fund has consistantly paid out $0.11 a month for the last 11 months. Prior to that, the fund paid $0.17 a month. If the Fund raises it's dividend rate again in the near future, you can expect shares to increase along with it.
